If you are looking to get on your bike and put down some miles consider the following local rides.  Each of these rides are unofficial and 'at your own risk', but if you are looking for fellow cyclists to ride & train with this is where you will find them:

TECH Tuesday Rides

  • Ride with us under the lights at the Georgia Tech campus on Jimmy Deloach Parkway. Warmups typically begin at 5:00 PM on the big loop and last until approximately 6:15 PM when the group switches to the short loop for some criterium practice.
  • If you ride at Georgia Tech, the convention is to ride clockwise in the right lane. Slower riders stay to the right, faster riders to the left. Remember - THE ROAD IS NOT CLOSED and you must watch for and yield to traffic and pedestrians.

Saturday Morning Rides

  • Ride starts at Perry Rubber Bike Shop on Bull/Liberty Saturday mornings 8.00am.
  • Ride is easy +/- 18mph to Gould Elementary School, where group reforms.
  • Ride then splits into the following groups:
  • 30 miles at 18-20 mph
  • 40 miles at 20-22 mph
  • 47 miles at 23-25+ mph
  • 47 miles at 25+ mph
  • 30 mile group turns right into Southbridge where easy paceline forms and any required skills/techniques are practiced.
  • 30 mile group speed is intended to be 18-20mph. This group waits for flats. (Faster riders please consider 40 mile route).
  • Ride contact: David Udinsky info@perryrubberbikeshop.com
  • Start/finish location 234 Bull Street (corner of Bull and Perry)
